COVID-19 GUIDELINES & POLICIES

Guidelines and policies are subject to change without notice.  The first week will be a trial week and changes may occur.

  • Classes are limited to only 10-12 students at a time.

  • Parents and family members will not be allowed into the building except in the case of an emergency.

  • Students will be dropped off for their class with their dancewear on underneath their street clothes, except for their dance shoes.

  • Outer clothing and shoes will be placed in sanitized cubbies.

  • Only one student at a time will be allowed to use the bathroom. Please remember to use the bathroom at home before you go to the studio.

  • Students must wash their hands and sanitize upon entering and exiting the studio.

  • Students will be allowed into the studio only 5 minutes before class start time.

  • Students must wait in their cars until the previous class has vacated the building. Once the studio has been vacated and cleaned, the next class can enter, have their temperature with a contact-free thermometer taken, and asked standard screening questions before they enter the studio.

  • Anyone showing the slightest signs of illness or a temperature higher than or equal to 100.4F will not be allowed to take class and asked to wait at least 72 hours after symptoms have resolved without medication.

  • Parents should not leave until they receive confirmation; it is okay to do so.

  • After class, students will be released individually to meet up with their parents waiting in their car.

  • Students must be picked up promptly. If a parent is not on time to pick up the student, they will be asked to wait in the lobby.

  • Students and staff will adhere to the six feet physical distance rule.

  • Six feet spaces will be clearly marked along the ballet barres and in the center.

  • Anyone age six and up must wear a mask to enter the building, including staff.  Instructors, students, and staff will wear facemasks except where medical documentation is presented and confirmed.

  • There will be no on-the-floor exercises or stretching.  When necessary, cleaned and sanitized yoga mats will be used.

  • There will be no hands-on corrections by teachers.

  • No food is allowed in the building.

  • The drinking fountain will not be in use. All students must bring their own clearly labeled water bottle from home.

  • No sharing of any clothes, shoes, or water allowed.

  • There will be no loaner shoes, leotards, tights, and hair supplies.

  • There will be no gathering or congregating in the waiting room or parking lot.

  • There will be no lost and found.
